Day 11 - Week 3

The weekends really fly don't they? I think everyone today was looking forward to cooking though. Roast Lamb (leg and shoulder) was on the menu today. So for most of us it was a nice roast dinner that we've not had in a while now. And I've never seen the dining room so packed.

I cut myself 7 times today. SEVEN! every one of the slashes was more stupid than the previous. It all started when i was putting my knives IN to my bag. My hands looked totally mauled by the time I went home.

I was aiming for my Lamb to be rare, but due to a last minute "can we cut yours in half for another student", I forgot to reduce my cooking time accordingly. Today was very very cold.

We were also put into a new kitchen today, all of my fellow "Kitchen 3" colleagues agreed, the change was not liked. But there aint nuffing we can do about it now though, just have to get used to it. Sigh.
